The ML 1600 is a woofer with extraordinary features. The pressed-pulp V-Cone® is combined with cotton fibres, while the surround features a smooth profile, adding to its naturalness and timbre accuracy. The spider exploits the excellent mechanical properties of Nomex®, the mobile voice coil is wound on extra light CCAW (Copper Clad Aluminium Wire) wound on a Kapton® former; the REN® Neodymium motor assembly generates a high-density magnetic flux, to achieve excellent dynamics, contrast and efficiency. Its versatility allows the ML 1600 to offer its highest potential in two-way systems as easily as it reproduces, without compromise, the mid-bass frequency in multi-way systems.
